The unit is built around a treadle assembly made from die-cast aluminium with double return spring arrangement.
The valve is a pneumatic 3-way pressure reducing valve, either vertically or horizontally mounted. The later is used in case the complete pedal must be above the floor. There are eight different compensating springs to choice from, to optimize the output pressure range. The spring can easily be adjusted to precise pressure level within the range.
Pressing the pedal results in an output air pressure proportional to the treadle position, piloting a slave cylinder attached to the fuel pump or other type of actuator, depending on the application.
