The UD617 control cable is an extra heavy-duty push–pull control cable designed for reliable and smooth transmission of mechanical force in demanding applications. It is widely used in the operation of small manual gearboxes, marine controls, winches, pumps, and other machinery where precise mechanical actuation is required.
It features a helical wound inner cable that provides strength and flexibility, along with steel end fittings for durability under load. The cable is supplied with a bulkhead fitting (M20 × 1.5 pitch) complete with lock nuts and washers, making it easy to mount securely. Standard threaded rod ends (3/8″ UNF or M8 × 1.25 pitch) allow for simple connection to levers or linkages.
With a nominal travel of around 150 mm, the UD617 delivers consistent and reliable motion transfer, even under heavy use. Its rugged construction and compatibility with Morse D1, D2, and D4 controls make it a versatile choice for industrial, automotive, and marine environments.
